adidas 60 Years of Soles and Stripes House Party
Previously we mentioned that adidas is celebrating it’s anniversary, check the post here. 2009 marks the 60th anniversary of the adidas Originals iconic 3-Stripes introduced by company founder Adi Dassler back in 1949.
To celebrate this colossal anniversary, adidas Originals will throw a “House Party” throughout five countries in South East Asia on 27 February 2009, with Singapore hosting the anchor event. Around 3,000 people will party concurrently across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines on the one night. Jump for more info.
Among some of the famous names to attend the Singaporean House Party are Hong Kong-based actor/singer EDISON CHEN, urban fashion designer ALYASHA OWERKA-MOORE, musically faceted composers and producer/DJ SHINICHI OSAWA and Masatoshi Uemura, Singapore’s most prevalent and stylish band, ELECTRICO, America’s Next Top Model winner (Cycle 5), NICOLE LINKLETTER, multi-award winning music producer and DJ PAUL T, Red Bull Academy’s broken beat Baltimore electro duo XKXKX and The Butter Factory’s resident beatboxer DHARNI. The party will be hosted by OLLI PETTIGREW.
Other well known names and faces to spot at the House Party include MELODY CHEN, RANDALL TAN, SOO KUI JIEN, DENISE KELLER, and ROSALYN LEE.
Established local street artists KILLER GERBIL, ANTZ, ZERO, EESHAUN, HYPERTHETIC and SHERYO will also be leaving their mark on party’s walls.
