adidas 60th Anniversary Party | Timberlux | 270209
One of the best parties ever, not only in terms of programmes, but also in the form of detail, the adidas 60th Anniversary party held at the Timberlux warehouse on 27 February 2009.
Thanks to the good people at adidas, plussixfive had the honour to attend the Singapore leg of the party while the rest of South East Asia partied on concurrently. When I say detail, I mean detail; everything was made adi-ish. From adi-popcorn, adi-pretzels, adi-candy floss, adi-alcohol, adi-sausages, even adi-paper glasses, and adi-party hats for everyone to adi-fit in! Jump for more pics and info.
The party kicked off at 19.49pm, the year adidas was founded. MC-ed by Oli Pettigrew, It was followed by acts and entertainment from a list of performers taking the stage such as Electrico, Dharni, and a fashion show featuring America’s Top Model winner Nicole Linkletter.
Amidst the packed space of great food, great people and awesome entertainment, the appearance of Edison Chen dawned upon us. There was a hustle within the crowd, and a train of bodyguards in black managed to clear the path for Edison to make his way to the VIP area.
Flashes from cameras and screams later, the party reached a height when everyone got down to mingling and socialising with each other, adi-refreshments providing the juice to power the party through the night.
plussixfive would like to thank all the peeps that made it possible, and all those we met.
Especially to Wilfred, Nigel, Sharon, Ann, Mandeep, and Sebestian. Thanks guys!
