plussixfive: Describe LAZY in 10 words or less.

LAZY: Lazy, Lifestyle, Sneakers, Fashion, Design, Toys

plussixfive: What inspires LAZY?

LAZY: Art, toys, design, fashion and people. These are my main source of inspiration… I think.

plussixfive: What can we expect upcoming from LAZY?

LAZY: More sneakers and more collaboration projects. I hope I’m able to show more of my graphic design work in future.

plussixfive: For your work / performance, what is the one most important thing to take note of? (material type, surroundings, time, etc..)

LAZY: There isn’t anything important to take note of. Basically, my work reflects me and my thinking. They are for people to enjoy. If the audiences can relate to my work, they will enjoy it on a deeper level and that makes my work special to them. For those who can’t relate to it, just enjoy them as it is will be fine.

plussixfive: What are your 10 essential items, and why?

LAZY:
1 ) Computers – I have got a PowerBook G4 and a MacBook. They are my essential tools for everything that I do. I can live without a television, but never without my computer.

2 ) Cellphone – I used to only make phone calls with my cellphone. But ever since I picked up the iPhone, I’m back listening to the 90s rock musics. Another reason not to travel without it.

3 ) Slippers – Generally, I rock slippers more than sneakers. Coz most of the time, I’m just too lazy to take my kicks out from the boxes.

4 ) Berm shorts – If I can do without denims, I will definitely rock my berms. I can’t stand the heat wearing denims in Singapore.

5 ) Design books – They are like tonic to my brain. It keeps me creatively in tune. My favorite one is +81. They do alot of interviews on creative people around the world. Its really interesting and inspiring to read such materials.

6 ) Internet – Its like my morning newspaper. I woke up every morning with a cup of coffee, in front of my computer, logging on to the internet. This is where I catch up on news, trends and events, as well
as staying in touch with friends.

7 ) Money – Everyone’s essential item. This is very important to anyone who wish to pursue a career in the creative line.

8 ) Watch – Time is as important as money. It keeps me on track with my schedule.

9 ) Space – Due to the reason that I’m working on my own, I need my own space. A place for me to work and store all my toys, shoes, books and clothing.

10 ) Beer – I work around the clock. Therefore, a beer break is essential. Its a good time to relax and catch up with friends.
