Retail success worldwide and growing demand from consumers has led Y-3 to open stores across the world since September 2004. Fans of Y-3 in Singapore can look forward to the experience of the first monobrand store in late November 2009 at Mandarin Gallery. Now open, hang on to your seats and jump for more info.

Y-3 is located at the new Mandarin Gallery, 333A Orchard Road

Situated on the premium shopping strip in Orchard Road, Y-3 occupies a street front store space of 1,636 square feet at Mandarin Gallery which promises high visibility and an unrivalled shopping experience for customers.

The Y-3 store represents a new phase for the brand, one that sees sportswear explored in completely new dimensions that represent both Yohji Yamamoto’s signature sense of style, as well as adidas’ expertise and innovation in sport. This perfect fusion continues to expand with every passing season, signifying a relationship which embodies mutual respect and cultural exchange, and satisfies the evolving needs of the Y-3 customer.

The design for the evolution of the adidas Y-3 retail experience reflects the concept of movement, contrast and with a hint of mystery. A ribbon-like continuous black surface which inscribes the walls, ceiling and floor loops around the displays of the store, motivating and forming the customer’s flow through space and the retail experience.

Contrasting highlight displays for various fashion merchandise are set into the scene by large-scale images from the brand campaign as well generous contrasting mirror surfaces.
