Louis Vuitton has agreed to support the White Ribbon Alliance with Naomi Campbell as its Global Ambassador, donating a portion of sales from a bag from its Spring/Summer 2010 collection. The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood is an international coalition of organizations and individuals who are dedicated to reducing maternal mortality worldwide.

Naomi Campbell was at Louis Vuitton headquarters a couple of days ago to choose the bag, which is made of khaki metallic monogram canvas stripes, embroidered on colored metallic leather with natural leather trim. The bag will be available in Louis Vuitton boutiques come March 2010, coinciding with the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day.
