Darth Vader and Stormtroopers Along Orchard Road | adidas Originals
On 20th Dec, 2009 at 4pm, a flashmob of 30 full-suited Stormtroopers led by Darth Vader himself, brought the Dark Side to the Orchard Road shopping belt. Known as the Vader’s Fist under the world-renowned 501st Legion, the Imperial Stormtroopers instigated an intergalactic spree starting from the adidas Originals Concept Store at Pacific Plaza and made their way across the shopping stretch crossing from Shaw Centre, past ION Orchard to Ngee Ann City.
The elite shock troopers carried out the Emperor’s will as well as brought to command, the new collaboration between adidas Originals and STAR WARS to highlight an intergalactic collection of apparel and footwear styles inspired by the legendary movie saga. Two undeniable forces of Pop-culture together on the Orchard Road pedestrian walkways makes this collaboration a force to be reckoned with. And we know, The Force Is With You… Always.
