Apple iPAD

apple-ipad-2010-1Apple fans undoubtedly spent time bouncing off the walls and on the edge of their seats as they waited in anticipation of Apple’s new iPad. Although not as revolutionary as some envisioned, the iPad is still a really exciting new product from arguably the world’s greatest tech company. The iPad looks like a blown up version of the iTouch and the iPhone, and if the smaller predecessors are any indication as to how fun the iPad might be, then expect to put your name on the waiting list.

The features, although not revolutionary, make sense. The large Multi-Touch screen on iPad lets you see web pages as they were meant to be seen — one whole page at a time. Reading emails is also enhanced, and a touch screen qwerty keyboard exists within. Add viewing photos and videos on the enlarged screen, iPod, iBooks and maps, and Apple’s got a winner once again. Let’s just hope that the added apps can be bought off the Singapore app store, or else this might not be as good a product for us as it looks.

The Apple iPad comes in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, battery that lasts up to 10 hours and weighs about three quarters of a kilo. These are projected to be released in stores locally around April.
