VUtopia gets bass-heavy as Darren Dubwise, one-half of the infamous Dubwise crew, joins forces with Kiat to lay down all beats at 140bpm, the musical sweet spot that has gained worldwide popularity. As one of South East Asia’s pioneers of the Drum & Bass scene, Kiat has been championing the darker experimental side of Electronica with quality Breaks and leftfield influences. Having set up Qilin records to push the boundaries of rolling bass-lines, the recent local project, Syndicate aims to take their vision further with sonic visual experimentation.
