Vanguard Designs, a sub of Singapore based Angelus Novus Studio, specializes in the design of unique one-off bicycles and customization and restoration of old collector’s pieces. Designed in Singapore and drawing inspiration from art, architecture, music, and the proportions of classic bicycles and motorcycles, each bike is treated as unique kinetic sculpture/architecture with a distinct character and personality. Each one is serialised and named, and captures an essence or soul of the city.

Vanguard Designs has recently launched their February 2010 Collection, which include the BSA Paratrooper, a 1942 WWII Para-Military foldable bike, and the Cassidy, a gorgeous street cruiser. These bikes are currently in stock, but only one of each are available – yes they’re that limited!
