The third Sneakers & Girls series release from KIKS TYO’s Spring 2010 season features the return of Japan’s top model, gravure idol star and actress Aya Kiguchi in two t-shirt releases. The first t-shirt features Aya with a pair of the ultra rare, Japan-exclusive UENO AF1’s. The inspiration behind the tee and the shoes – Japan’s famous cherry blossoms – are seen in motion-like detail as they fall around Aya. The tee’s traditional Japanese spring style is set off with an original KIKS “inkan” print – a traditional name stamp used across Japan and Eastern Asia. The second tee features Aya in a design inspired by Japanese traditional beer posters that grace the walls of bars and izakaya across Japan and around the world. Instead of Kirin, or Asahi, the tee features Aya on a exotic beach in Okinawa with a well known Green bottle and a pair of the infamous Dutch beer inspired Dunk SB’s.
