Japanese cult label WTAPS shed some light on their first release of 2010 via a well pieced together lookbook. Entitled “96-69″, this upcoming collection has its roots deeply planted in the past but at the same time keeps its look current with its own interpretation of British fashion. And although their philosophy has been kept the same, the label is constantly evolving and moving away from its military-esque designs towards a blend of punk and 50’s Jazz whilst maintaining clean lines and functionality. A couple of pieces are singled out and a brief description of how each product has come to be as well as how it fits into the entire collection is given to inform-ate us.
