World renowned American travel outfitter, Samsonite, celebrates its 100th anniversary this year with an exciting, gigantic outdoor exhibit – Samsonite – A Century of Going Places – that will take place for the first time in Singapore.  The two-week centenary celebration will feature specially flown-in heritage pieces from USA. Modeled after the first coordinated luggage created by founder Jesse Shwayder in the 1920s, “Samsonite – A Century of Going Places” will showcase the history and development of the brand since its establishment in 1910 in Denver, Colarado. >From then on, Samsonite has continued to leverage its craftsmanship and heritage as an innovator, to create unique solutions for the sophisticated traveler.

Fans of the brand and travel enthusiasts will marvel at the original pieces that goes back to the elegant 40’s to the latest collection – Cosmolite – that marries sophisticated design with modern technology.

A limited edition Centenary product, Attaché, would also be unveiled at the exhibition.  This sleek black leather case takes on a classic look of the original business attaché created for the business executives in 1960s.
