Singapore’s Sixties Bands: A Facebook Curation

Before western music invaded the radios, there was a time when Singapore had a thriving music scene. That was in the 1960’s, where local bands actually had hit songs, a traveling fan base, and they ruled the local airwaves. That glorious decade is now history, but thanks to Joseph Clement Pereira, the memories live on with his curation of old photos of those sweet sounds and sweet outfits. Renaissance, anyone?
