For their upcoming Autumn/Winter 2010 Collection, Dr Denim has gone one up in the usual lookbook department and have gone on to produce a short film entitled, Salad Days. The short film follows a day in the life of four elderly friends and shows the audience how they live their lives in similar fashion to that of 20-something urban hipsters. We ride along with them through the streets and parks as the defy convention and treat each turn of the pedal as ‘a matter of life or denim’. Click here to watch Salad Days in all its glory. Dr Denim is available at Very Wooonderland.

The term ‘salad days’ is most often used as an idiomatic expression, referring to a youthful time is one’s life accompanied by the inexperience, idealism and indiscretion often associated with youth – you know, because it’s raw and flavoursome, like a good salad. But as far as Dr Denim is concerned, your salad days extend well beyond the bounds of youth. And just to prove their point, they’ve made a short film documenting this well known medical fact.

Very Wooonderland is located at #B3-12, ION Orchard
