i will think about it is an exhibition by 3 young artists residing in Singapore. The three, namely Chuck Reyes (Philippines), Nah Yong En (Singapore) and Koh Pei Chen (Malaysia) will speak through their works on “the quiet contemplation of what it means to live within the austere, fast-paced, ever-changing, island of complexities and ambiguities that is Singapore.” It is scheduled to coincide with the nation’s birthday in an understated deliberation, as a relevant reflection amidst the celebrations. No fancy or daring artworks we can’t even speak of, no purposeful rebellion to seek attention. The showcase of photography and ink works promises to touch a place closer to heart as a sincere conveyance from the artists’ gazes for us to share.
