Loh Lik Peng, who has garnered a strong reputation for opening some very tasteful boutique hotels around the country, has opened his third boutique hotel, Wanderlust. Located at Dickson Road in the heart of Little India, Wanderlust was originally built in the 1920s and once housed the Hong Wen School. The hotel spots 29 rooms spanning four floors, with each floor designed by a different design agency – namely Asylum, Phunk Studio, DP Architects and fFurious. The four agencies resulted in four contrasting themes, namely Industrial Glam by Asylum, Eccentricity by Phunk Studio, “Is it just black and white?” by DP Architects, and Creatures Comfort by fFurious.
